Mary and Jackie, please accept our condolences on the loss of Rick. Stewart had the privilege of working alongside Rick at Trojan Technologies for five years starting in 1993. Rick had a tough job (creating quality policies at a revenue-driven company) that he handled with grace and integrity. Rick will be missed.

A donation was made in Rick's name to the Canadian Cancer Society.

My son Neil and I brought our project car (1972 340 Duster) to Ricks' shop for lessons in how to restore a vehicle. We learned a million things about welding, painting, use of the english wheel and, most importantly, gained a friend while doing it. Rick and my cousin Doug Derbyshire had been great friends years ago and Rick made it easy to understand why...... we will miss him.....

Glad that I had a chance to chat with Rick at our 45th Maritime College reunion. As usual he was so good hearted and glad to see all his classmates. Enjoyed his stories and memories of times gone by. He was a great classmate and made us all better by knowing him!

My condolences to Jackie and family. I remember fondly of Rick participating in our Club Race many years ago in his 356 TubToy.
His passion for the sport and friendly smile will never be forgotten.
