We didn’t have the opportunity to get know Jack as well as we would have liked to, but would like to honor him for his strength of character and the love of family he has displayed over these past few years. Our deepest sympathies are extended to Donna, their family together and friends in their loss and this difficult time. Bette & Cec Gray

So sorry to learn of Jack’s passing. Over thirty-five years ago I had the pleasure of babysitting Cindy and CJ when they lived in Beachville. Jack and Donna were always so kind and friendly. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I was very sad to hear this news. Mr. Dean was one of the smartest and nicest people I have ever known. I have numerous memories from when I was a kid when Jack helped me with school or other projects. He helped coach one of my baseball teams, let me store my motor cycle at the feed mill over the winter and gave my father work when he was out of a job. My life has been a little bit better because of Mr. Dean!

My condolences to Jack's wife and Family. I grew up in Sandhill and have good memories of Jack. One in particular was when we were driving around with Jack in the 1947 Dodge 4 door with suicide doors. Someone, I believe it was John Devins, lit a firecracker and was going to throw it out before it went off. It went off, but inside the car. That sticks in my memory as one of the times we drove around with Jack in that car. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Archie McNeill Guelph, ON
